African Americans in the Military and in the News

Ruth Ezell visited the February "As if We Weren't There" photography exhibit.  The part of the exhibit that was of particular interest was that of African Americans in the Military.  Several months later Ms. Ezell sat down with some of the photography contributors who shared personal stories of their family members. Ms. Ezell chose the week of the 4th of July holiday  as many Americans were remembering our veterans and their many sacrifices.   The story aired on the weekly PBS series Living St. Louis.
